Elphin Callisto

2008 CCPS Halfbred Connemara Performance Award Winner

Elphin Callisto is the fifth foal out of Elphin Cassiopeia (reg. QH) by Mick. Calli was born in 2000 and is a bright chestnut standing 14.2 hh. He is named after Jupiter's eighth moon, in keeping with his mother's name. Calli was an elegant foal with floating movement and a quiet temperament.

Calli is pictured below in August 2014 adorned with some artwork provided by his owner's granddaughter.

Nancy was very happy with Calli: "I was most impressed with his attitude for the entire day. We arrived at 9am and did not leave until 4:30. He was well behaved, warmed up nicely and acted like he had been showing for years. We had LOTS of wonderful comments from everyone there - on his great attitude, his movement and how well suited we are, as well as how darn cute he is."
