Time For Truffles

Time For Truffles is as cute as her name! Bred by Joan Cotter of Diamond Mead Farm, this 1999 large pony mare is out of the successful A-circuit hunter pony, Story Time, or "Madge". Madge is a Welsh Arab cross mare, and this refinement, along with the Connemara temperament, should make Truffles an excellent hunter prospect. She is already broken to line drive, and will begin work under saddle in the spring of 2002.

Sweet And Saucy

Saucy is a full sister to Truffles. She is a 2000 grey filly, born chestnut, expected to finish as a large pony. Like her older sister, Saucy is also broken to line drive.

Madge had a third filly by Mick in 2002. This one is named Knickknack and came with her dam to Elphin Mountian Farm for Madge's forth and final breeding to Mick, which resulted in another filly in 2003! Knickknack was born chestnut and like her sisters turned grey. She has a bit more Connemara bone and size with a great temperament.
